Fashion Fridays!


Here is this week's trend...

Yoga pants with a colorful band around them! There particular pants are from Victoria's Secret, who created this look, but ever since then, many other stores have produced these type of pants too. Like Macy's and Old Navy for example. They are super cute, the bands come in all different colors and designs. Now you can even stay fashionable while working out!

Like I said, these pants don't have to be purchased at Victoria's Secret, because they are quite expensive there. The price ranges from $29- $40, depending on what length of the pants you get. They'd be cheaper at another store and still be just as cute.

I'm actually MAKING a pair of these yoga pants in my clothing construction class at school. They pretty much look like the picture, but obviously without the LOVE PINK logo.

I am currently on The Clique #7. I got the free sample on my Kindle (the first chapter) and started reading it, then when I went to buy the book, I didn't have enough money on my account! So now I have to wait until I get payed so I can buy it.

I felt empty inside, not reading anything. So then I was walking by our school library window and saw this book... Matched by Ally Condie
I was thinking "That cover looks so cool, I'm going to read the description and possibly check it out tomorrow." Then when I got to the library the next day, to my luck IT WAS CHECKED OUT! So then they put it on hold for me and now 2 days later, I have it! The title of this post is a quote from the book. The person who had it before me must have finished it fast.. or hated it and just stopped reading it.... EITHER WAY, I have it now :)

I read 2 reviews of this book from the people I follow, and they both loved it, so I'm hoping I will too.

On another note, this has been such a stressful week! So much homework and tests, I HATE IT. But I have a dance competition tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to that. :D

I wish I could post more during the week, but I'm always so busy. In the summer I'll be able to post like everyday.

I love Goodreads.com now! I added a bunch of widgets from the site on my sidebar! You should really get a Goodreads if you love reading.

Today in class, I was reading Matched and some kid was like "You read?" and I said "Yes, why don't you?" and he said "I hate books," and I answered, "BOOKS HATE YOU!!" :)

Maybe dreams can come true..

So tonight was our school's Mardi Gras dance, even though Mardi Gras is a long time away. I was dreaming of something happening at this dance, and I was like "There's no way, it's impossible ,just stop dreaming."

Well, IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. It made my entire night! (You can probably guess since it's a dance..)
I was so surprised and shocked. And I still am. But I'm not sure of anything yet, so I can't get too excited.


People disgust me at school dances.. if your school is like mine, you know what I mean. People practically look like they're having sex while dancing and making out like animals while dancing.. its gross.. Like, slut much? Haha.

Anyways, hope all of your weekends are great! I currently have 29 followers and my goal is 30, so maybe that dream will come true too :)

Fashion Fridays

Here's another current trend for this week's Fashion Friday!
Charm Bracelets! Ones like Pandora brand, Chamilia, etc. If you look around you'll see a lot of girls wearing these bracelets. They are cool because you can customize them the way you want and it's like your project you keep adding onto!
There are SO MANY different charms, it's insane! If you look on sites like Amazon.com or Ebay.com, the charms are way cheaper than in stores.

She sings and makes nail polish too!

We all know the talented singer Katy Perry, but did you know she has a new nail polish line? if you didn't, you do now! Katy Perry worked with OPI Nail Polish brand to launch her own line of super cute and stylish polishes.


They are-





-Teenage Dream (girly sparkly pink shade)
-Not Like the Movies (an interesting silver metallic shade)
-Last Friday Night ( a bold metallic blue shade)
-The One That Got Away ( an intense dark berry shade)
-Black Shatter (an beautiful black top coat that creates texture with the help of a cracked/leopard pattern when applied over another nail polish)

I own the Teenage Dream polish, and I've used the Black Shatter. The Teenage Dream is so sparkly and pretty, I'm going to use it up quick! The Black Shatter is so cool, when you put it on your nails, it literally shatters/ cracks! You use it over another nail polish color, and it looks so awesome! You just paint it on like any other polish, and it shatters right on your nails!


See, how awesome is that? I currently have Shatter on my nails painted over Teenage Dream.

I am a Material Girl

We all know Madonna's famous song, "Material Girl." And back in 2010, Madonna created a line of clothing titled Material Girl and debuted it at Macy's stores. I own a bunch of this clothing and I wanted to share this great brand of clothes with you. If you are a teenage girl who loves fashion like I do, then I am almost positive you will love this brand!
The collection is a mishmash of Madonna's greatest fashion hits from the early years with a smattering of current trends added in.

It is a lot of 80's style retro clothing. For example, there is a lot of shoulder pads, lace,plaid, leggings and tights, short and baggy shirts ,zippers, leather, layers, metallic etc.

Other than clothing, the brand also has jewlery, shoes, and bags.


Those are just some examples of clothing. It is sold at any Macy's store in the girl's Junior dept. Prices range from about $12-$40. Definatley take a look at some of this clothing if you haven't already, you'll love it!

Those were my words after finishing The Clique #5- The Pretty Committee Strikes Back.
There is so much in store for the five Clique girls, and I can't wait to find out!
They all thought everything way okay, they all made up and were friends again and they all got their first kisses and everything seemed just peachy..
UNTIL THEY GOT EXPELLED!
That was a huge twist! I'm going to miss their school.
My favorite of all the characters is tied between Massie and Claire.
Massie seems like a girl I'd want to be, but then again she also seems a lot bratty and she only thinks about herself and not others. That bothers me. and she also thinks she's better than everyone.
Claire on the other hand is just innocent and funny, and it seems like if she really existed then she'd be a friend of mine. But sometimes she can be weird and annoying.
Who is YOUR favorite character? My least favorite is Alicia. (If you even read this series. Well if you don't, you defiantly should!)
I also rented The Clique movie last week. It was good, but that's not really how I imagined Dylan and Kristan. Alicia, Massie, and Claire were spot on. Except the girl who played Massie had big buck teeth and that took away from Massie's so called "flawlessness."

So... here's this week's trend!

Burberry Scarves!

I mean, they don't even have to be Burberry brand, just that design! These scarfs are super cute, warm, and very in this season! You'll see a bunch of people wearing them! You can wear it with clothes like a "fashion scarf," or in the winter weather for warmth!

I wear mine as a "fashion scarf."

These don't just come in brown, they coming in like purple, pink, yellow, green, any color you want! (Only Burberry brand one's come in brown though, Burberry has no fun colored ones.) I have a knock off brown one, and really you can't even tell the difference. They are cheaper and look pretty much the same!

I guess I don't hate him anymore..



So today I went and saw that new Justin Beiber movie called Never Say Never. (Don't judge me, the person I went with wanted to see it so I was like whatev lets go)


And even though I don't have "Beiber Fever" or "Obsessive Beiber Disorder," I actually liked the movie..

In fact I wish more artists made movies like that. Because it helps to feel closer to the artist. I feel like I know Justin Beiber and that he's actually a real person, not just some cute singer with awesome hair.

I can't believe he was discovered on Youtube! That would be like a dream come true. The man who discovered him was like "I'm going to find this kid!" and JB's mom thought he was like a pedophile trying to track down her son.

He has SOO many fans, it's crazy. Like they showed him walking in a parking lot and he was getting attacked and mobbed by people! Poor kid! He can't even go to the bathroom or buy a hot dog without being attacked by crazed six year olds! And people are like balling their eyes out at his concerts and saying they are going to marry him! Like calm down, he doesn't even know you exist.

One thing I liked is that JB's workers went around and just GAVE OUT FREE TICKETS TO CONCERTS! And the ones they give out are actually good seats! Why can't Taylor Swift do that? He also brings one girl up on stage every concert to be the "One less lonely girl." I thought that was cool.

He kinda seemed like a little diva/ starstruck towards everyone in the movie. But I guess how could you not be ,when you are more famous beyond your wildest dreams.

I remember when he didn't tweet for a few days, and his fans thought he died! Now THAT was funny.


I despised JB before this movie, and now I guess I don't anymore. I'm not a "Fan," but I like him. He's a nice kid who promotes nice things. Like the title for example, "Never say Never," promotes anything could happen and that you should never give up.

Easier said than done.


He will still always sound like a girl to me though, oh well, at least he's hot. Too bad guys like him don't really exist.

Dance Dance Dance!

If you're a dancer then you should read this! I hardly ever get to talk to girls outside my studio and get their opinions, so read on!


Yay! This weekend is the kick- off of our competition season! I'm so excited! Even though our dances aren't that great and still need cleaned A LOT , I'm still really looking forward to being on stage.

I have a two Jazz dances, a Tap dance, two Hip hop dances , and a Musical Theatre dance.


1. Hip Hop- Do you like hip hop as much as I do? Well I LOVE IT!! I have two hip hop dances this year, a duet and large group. I just love that you can add your own flare to hip hop, and dress funky and cool! You get to use the best and most popular songs and the dancing is sick! I can actually say I am good at hip hop, hence another reason why it is my favorite. Do YOU like hip hop? Comment and tell me why!


2.Musical Theatre- Musical Theatre or "Character" is my second favorite type of dancing. It is like Jazz, but with more personality and humor. It's just fun to make those faces and dance to those theatre songs. You get to act more with this type of dancing, which is fun. And lip sinking is always fun too! Do you like Musical theatre dancing? COMMENT!




This picture is from my musical theatre dance last year called "Chicago." Well as you can see, it obviously doesn't say Chicago and the new town is called CHICOGA ILLINOIS!! It was a prop mixup! I was sitting there holding my letter C and the audience is laughing and I'm like.."WHY ARE THEY LAUGHING??" And then that was why.. yay...But don't worry, this year the dance is called "Speaking French," and we don't hold up letters in that dance :p Funny how both of my dances are places in the world... except for Chicoga..



3. Jazz- Jazz is a lot like Musical theatre, it's my third favorite. Jazz is more intense that that I guess. I just think it's really cool and fun to dance and watch. I guess I'm kinda good at it. Do you like Jazz? Comment!!


4. Tap- Tap is really fun but also really tiring and sometimes hard to do. My tap dance is so fast, I'm always breathing really heavily afterwards and sometimes I have trouble getting all my sounds in. But other than that, I love tap! It it just so cool that we can make all of those sounds with our feet! Do you like Tap? COMMENT!


My least favorites are ballet and gymnastics, I'm not the greatest at either of them so that's why..




On competitions-


I know some people don't compete but you've all been on stage before so I bet you can relate!


I always am afraid I'm going to mess up for forget a step or SLIP! I've slipped so many times on those stages! But you just gotta get up and keep going!

Smiling is a HUGE part in dancing on stage too, if you don't smile, it bores the audience because YOU look bored and you get points taken off by the judges!
The judges annoy me sometimes. especially when they sit there with a "I would rather be anywhere but here right now" look on their face. It's like THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE ANYWAY!!? GO HOME! I always try and smile a lot to get the judges to smile too.

I like to see other studios dance too. It's fun to see other people's style and different costumes and songs, etc.

Top 2 Tuesday



This Top 2 Tuesday is two things you have learned about friendship.


1. I've learned that friends change, usually in bad ways and you're going to grow apart. It sucks but that's life. They won't always be there for you forever like they say they are, unless they're like an amazing person. Which my "BFF" isn't.


2. That it's hard to become friends with people, especially at a high school level. I've been trying for a while to find a new group to hang out with, but it's just so hard. They all have so much in common and so much history. I won't ever fit in with the crowd I want to.
